About Me

Hey there, I'm Zavosh Zaboliyan, but you can call me Zav. My story starts right here in Toronto. Losing my father at a young age and growing up with a single mom who gave up everything for my future, I learned early on the value of hard work, gratitude, and strong core values. I've faced my fair share of challenges and failures in life, and those experiences have shaped who I am today. They also gave me the tools to help others navigate their own journeys.

I've traveled and worked in many different places, but Toronto has always been home. It's a city that shaped me into the dedicated leader I am today. Over the past 15 years, I've thrived in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and community development. I've had the honour of receiving international awards, including a Grammy nomination, and working with amazing people like Stan Lee, Mike Tyson, Lady Gaga and others. I've invested in startups across e-commerce, FinTech, AR/VR, and emerging technologies to boost economic growth here at home. I’ve also helped set up three business incubators and advised venture capital firms on their investment strategies.

One of my passions is mentoring entrepreneurs—over 500 of them—and supporting local businesses, especially during tough times like the pandemic. These experiences have instilled in me a deep sense of duty to give back whenever I can. My journey has always been about positive change and community empowerment. I've led successful startups, secured funding for various initiatives, and stood up for justice, amplifying underrepresented voices. I was fortunate to represent Canada at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and at the World Bank/International Monetary Fund, working on policies based on the United Nations' SDGs. I'm also a proud conservative and tired of the reckless government spendings without any accountability. 

Now, I'm running to be your candidate for Spadina-Harbourfront with the federal Conservative Party of Canada. Our community faces big challenges: a housing crisis, rising living costs, increasing crime, and an opioid crisis among other problems. I see these issues because I live them too. I'm committed to tackling these problems with practical, compassionate solutions that will make a real difference.
